The Covid 19 pandemic has created a huge impact all over the world but the entertainment cricket has not given to all of us has not stopped. Many cricketers got covid but cricket matches did not stop. Many cricketers and cricket boards also helped others during the pandemic. Many International matches are also happening inspite of covid being tested positive to players. World Test Championship finals also going yo happen  between India and New Zealamd on 18 June 2021. The return of cricket has made all the cricket fans happy. As some people were getting depressed cricket helped them by bringing their smile back. 


CRICKET LEAGUE IN COVID PERIOD:-

Many leagues started in covid period such as IPL, PSL, BBL and many others. BCCI, CA, CWI, PCB and other cricket boards successfully conducted respective leagues in 2020, some in their hometown or some in other country like IPL in UAE. BCCI thought of conducting IPL in India only but as many cases were rising in India and players were also getting covid, BCCI decided to postpone IPL 2021 to Sept-Oct (Tentative Date) in UAE. Some Overseas players as of England and Australia are likely to miss the rest of the IPL in UAE. Almost same in PSL as cases were rising, PCB decided to stop PSL 2021 and postpone to June 1 in UAE but as pakistan players were not getting visa, they had to again postpone it to June 9.

Cricket boards :-
1. BCCI- 
51 Crore ruppees to PM care funds. 

BCCI to also donate 2000 oxygen concentraters to help India fight Covid.

2. CA- $50,000 and giving partnership with UNICEFAUSTRALIA


Cricket Teams :-
1. PBKS- provide oxygen cylinders to the covid 19 patients suffering with lack of oxygen.
2. DC:- Delhi Capitals and its patrons, the JSWFoundation & GMR Varalakshmi Foundation are offering financial support amounting to INR 1.5 Cr to NCR based NGOs, the Hemkunt_Fdn and the UdayFoundation.
3. RR- Rajasthan Royals announce a contribution of over $1 milion from their owners, players and management to help with immediate support to those impacted by COVID-19. This will be implemented through @RoyalRajasthanF and @britishasiantst.
4. RCB-
In 2020-
RCB has identified key areas where. much needed help is required immediately in healthcare infrastructure related to Oxygen support in Bangalore and other cities, and will be making a financial contribution towards this.

In 2021-
This season RCB is going to be sporting a special Blue jersey in 1 of the upcoming matches with key messaging on the match kit to pay our respect & show solidarity to all the front line heroes who have spent last year wearing PPE kits & leading the fight against the pandemic.

3. Jason Behrendroff- donation to UNICEF Project
4. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya- Pandya brothers to donate 200 oxygen concentrators to aid India's COVID-19 fight
5. Virat Kohli- Virat Kohli extends support to K.S. Sravanthi Naidu 
6. Sachin Tendulkar- Sachin Tendulkar donates ₹1 crore to 'Mission Oxygen'
7. Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan:-
[ ] Irfan & Yusuf Pathan`s father provides free food to COVID-19 patients in Vadodara. Those who need free food can contact their fathers trust Mehmoodkhan S Pathan Public Charitable Trust in 2021.
[ ] Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan has provides free mask and free food to needy in 2020.
