Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian Women Cricketer and the captain of Indian Women Cricket team in T20. She plays as an all rounder ( right handed batsman and right arm off break bowler ) in Indian Women's cricket team. She grew up playing cricket with her father as a coach. She use to travel 30 km every day to learn Cricket. Making her ODI debut , she gave 10 runs with one wicket in 4 overs only. In 2016, she became the first ever Indian to sign a big bath league contract. She also became the first Indian to sign up with Kia Super league. She was offered WODI captaincy for the first time in 2013, while taking over WT20 captaincy in 2016. She made her test debut on 13 August 2014 vs England; her ODI debut on 7 March 2009 vs Pakistan and T20 debut on 11 June 2009 vs England. She played her last test on 16 November 2014 vs S.A. ; her last ODI on 6 November 2019 vs W.I. and her last T20 on 8 March 2020 vs Australia.

• In November 2018, she became the first woman for India to score a century in women's T20 international.
• In October 2019, she became the first cricketer for India to play in 100 international T20 matches.
• Her 171* in the 2017 Women's Cricket world cup is the highest individual score by an Indian in Women's Cricket World Cup history.
• She also secure a spot in ICC Women's T20 team of the year in 2017.
• She took 9 wickets against S.A. Women's team in 2015 where India won by an innings and 34 runs.
• She was signed by Sydney Scorchers in 2016 thus becoming first ever Indian cricketer to play for an overseas T20 franchise.
